Excellent condition
Because they are 130+ years old, there will be minor crazing, pits, and flea bites, but they are in remarkable condition for their age.
All tiles are fully checked for cracks or chips, any tiles that do not meet our installation standards are not placed in inventory.

These antique tiles were salvaged from a regal Chicago, IL home slated for demolition. They were made by the U.S. Encaustic Tile Company (U.S.E.T.) out of Indianapolis, Indiana. U.S.E.T. was in business from 1877-1886, making it likely that these tiles originated in the 1880s Victorian era.
