Pair of Lovely Victorian 4.25x4.25" Art Nouveau Figural Tile
This pair of lovely taupey green figural tiles was salvaged from an 1890's Chicago property shortly before the wrecking ball came. They feature a lovely geometric design with an Art Nouveau look. Each tile measures 4.25x4.25" and was made between 1880-1900.
The rich glaze pools in lower parts of the design, creating a rich colorway. These tiles can be used in a surround or hearth design, in a kitchen or bathroom, or framed to enjoy as home decor.
These tiles are in lovely condition for their age and feature intricate designs that can complement many different home styles or be framed as home decor.
The tile has been hand scraped of all loose dirt, mortar, and grout before receiving a thorough cleaning to remove soot, coal, and paint.
